History

This guitar was built in 2005 for the Tunbridge Worlds Fair, where it won a first place blue ribbon. We build one every year and it has become a family tradition that we and a lot of our friends and family look forward to. This is the first Tunbridge Guitar that we are offering for sale since 2002. Right now it is set up with Light Gauge strings. It has a bright, clean punchy sound, but with plenty of bass. This guitar provides a perfect opportunity for someone who likes to play a bunch of notes real fast or who does a lot of fingerpicking at the same time providing a big body sound for strumming. It has an even volume all the way across from E to E. A non-traditional satin finish that is truly beautiful and in excellent condition. There are no scratches, dings or flaws. I once told my mother that "When I grow up I want to build guitars." and she said " Well, you can't do both." Hah!
